Simeon Grant Anderson

At length, on Thursday night labor commenced. After 11 hours we discovered that we've been blessed with a son, born at 10:42am EST Sept 17 2009. He weighed 7lbs 4 oz, was 20" long. We deliberated and decided on his name. He's named after the New Testament saint who got to see Jesus before he died. Simeon means "hearkening". God heard our request to have a child. We're so thankful.

Simeon is doing well, eating well, and sleeping a lot. I'm recovering just fine.

Here are a few pics, there will be more, eventually.

What a handsome little son!
Simeon has light eyebrows like you did Tammy at birth, he has more hair and it is darker than your's was. How I long to get on a plane and come down.. I must get my passport finished.

hugs and kisses to you three

What a precious child. How beautiful!

I am so happy for you all!

Looking at the loving momma and papa... :) just makes me want to shout for joy!

Though you both are such capable individuals in your own right, I am still certain you are overwhelmed with the precious trust that is put into your hands.

This I do know, that having parents with hearts so driven to the Lord in service and standard, this child will have the best in influence and and instruction. What a start!

Kissing his tiny little fingers in welcome...:) Oh! What a wonder you are, Simeon!"

Ciao!
