Heh, just so you have it right, or correct....me..s had a really cute puppy when I was new to Chetwynd, I had not met your dad yet...that would be back in the fall of 1973, the year I started living for Christ, I was still 18 years old...I got that really cute red and white puppy from the neighbors at Buchard Lake...North of Chetwynd behind the Indian Resurvation, this was the farm that Grandma bought with Uncle Dave's money when he lost his leg from being shot by the hunter on November 24 1972. Anyway, that really pretty pup, I named Tammy...but Grandma went and gave her away when I was gone for three months working at Prince George...she sure was pretty...but Grandma did not know I would be coming home so soon and she up and gave Tammy away to a family that saw how pretty she was...So there you go....your dad never got to see the pretty pup, but I had told him about her, and when he and I thought Tammy Jean would suit you, I asked Grandma first about the name being as I'd had that pretty puppy....she said Oh go ahead, Tammy is a real pretty name for a baby girl....so there you go.
