i'm sick, wah wah

So, I dont know how I caught Amandas cold over the phone, but alas, I did. I was fine quilting on Tuesday with the girls, and then was sick on Wednesday, no one else but me, weird. I have a really mean scratchy throat. Its not as sore as it was then, but now I have nasal issues as well, and a tightening in my lungs. Anyway, I now have compassion for ppl who dont go places or do things because "they have a scratchy throat" I confess I thought them a bit wimpy.

Thanks for listening.

So, I haven't been sewing since Tuesday. I made a dress, a ladies one, alot easier to get into. I changed the design a bit. I made a mistake though, really annoying, I have to re sew the darts, they arent in the right places, and make for puffy armpits. oops.

I washed laundry today, we were running out of things, it was laborious. I watched a video from the library on internet home based businesses while folding the mountain of clothes. It was quite unhelpful, I should have looked at the year it was made, 1996. " And now I'll explain what the internet IS.. etc :P

I've been looking at some cool things lately, since I've been sick and in pain and unable to be profitable. heh The hotslings at www.hotslings.com seem to be very easy to make by ones self. So, the quilting gals and I are going to attempt making some in a few weeks hence. I really liked these ones as well http://www.chicpapoose.com/ . Also, I'm gonna try making a boppy for Hannah, we'll see if it turns out.

All these creative, um, ideas of other ppl's and so little energy. :) Maybe I'll feel better tomorrow.

if you sell cloth diapers there is a 30% profit on them!!!

also if you make a hotsling you have to give lyd one!!!

I've been hearing people rave about those slings everywhere, but I hadn't actually seen someone wearing one until today at Superstore. They look like they'd be pretty handy. :)

Hope you're feeling better soon!

Belinda has a sling quite a bit like that, really came in handy for her with Geneva

Lyndon's Mom made a boppy pillow for my niece. She looked at the one you and Amanda gave to Dor and made a pattern from that. It only took her a short time to sew up, so could be a very profitable venture. I hope your business ideas come to fruition....Ginny

Hope you are feeling better now. I think you posted this a few days ago. I was sick last week. Blak.

Anyways, I love my hotsling. If I knew how to make them, er, um, if I even knew how to sew, then I would make a bunch with different materials. I have a floral one now that seems to bold and, well, floral for the fall/winter.

Anyways, when are you guys coming to visit?!?!?!?

Thanks for all the comments and encouragement guys.
Lydia, I think we're coming to Corry at the end of this month, so maybe while were there we can hit walmart and borrow Shawn's mom's sewing machine? :D
I'm gonna post an update later today, hopefully, I've got alot to do first.
